The Office of Public Works manages over 2,500 properties around Ireland on behalf of the state.

We want to find out how many of those are vacant, and what is planned for them.

From former garda stations to unused offices, we want to find out how many currently lie idle and the reasons why they are empty.

Are there also leased properties that are left sitting unused, and where are they?

We will publish the list in full and show what properties are lying idle in which counties.
